You will serve as the main point of contact between clients, insurance companies, repair facilities, and the legal team.
Your duties will include continuous communication with insurance companies, obtaining and reviewing police reports, coordinating vehicle repairs, and ensuring law firm clients receive the necessary support throughout the process.
The goal is to streamline the resolution of property damage claims and provide clients with a stress-free experience during an otherwise challenging time.**Key Responsibilities:*** Collect and document relevant property damage information from clients to assist with the repair process.* Contact insurance companies to: • Verify liability status • Arrange rental vehicles • Assess total loss situations • Coordinate and monitor vehicle repairs* Obtain and analyze police reports through LexisNexis or similar databases; ensure essential details are accurately captured in the App and case files.* Review and extract critical information from police reports to support the attorney’s legal strategy and the client’s property damage claim.* Maintain ongoing, professional communication with the attorney’s office, ensuring all client information is accurate, updated, and guidance from legal counsel is followed.* Coordinate with auto repair facilities and rental companies to ensure repairs or replacements are completed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.* Provide clients with regular status updates, answer questions regarding the process, and address any concerns promptly.* Assist with preparing reports, summaries, and documentation for case files to support litigation or settlement negotiations.* Track and follow up on outstanding insurance documents, payments, and repair shop invoices to ensure timely resolution.* Work closely with the law firm to ensure all necessary steps are taken to resolve property damage claims efficiently while maintaining client satisfaction.**Qualifications and Requirements:****Experience:*** Previous experience in a role involving property damage, insurance claims, auto repairs, or working with attorneys is highly preferred.* Background in customer service, legal assistance, or insurance adjuster support is a plus.**Skills:**1.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, insurance companies, repair facilities, and attorneys.2. Detail-oriented with the ability to extract and summarize key information from police reports and other legal/insurance documents.3. Proficient in using online databases such as LexisNexis for obtaining police reports and insurance-related information.4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.5. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/case management software6.
Knowledge of property damage and insurance processes, including liability determination and total loss assessments.7. Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve disputes between clients, insurers, and repair shops.8.
