Job Summary

We’re seeking driven and passionate professionals to join our growing team in Colombia.

You’ll collaborate with global experts on cutting-edge projects, deliver tailored solutions for clients, and help establish Apex IT’s footprint in LatAm. The role offers a unique blend of remote/hybrid work, professional development, and opportunities to innovate.

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of both internal and external projects, with emphasis on operational support, financial analysis, and client delivery.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen analytical mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Functions

• Prepare detailed project plans and execute projects within time, cost, and resource constraints.
  
  
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure delivery aligns with the timeline, scope, and budget.
  
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage task dependencies and ensure successful project delivery.
  
  
• Produce and present weekly project status reports to stakeholders.
  
  
• Prioritize multiple projects during team planning meetings to optimize resource allocation.
  
  
• Lead and ensure successful delivery of Oracle and other CRM implementation initiatives.
  
  
• Manage teams responsible for application design, development, and support of Oracle-related projects.
  
  
• Ensure systems meet defined business expectations, oversee proper testing, and monitor performance in coordination with development teams.
  
  
• Apply strong problem-solving skills and adhere to established project standards and methodologies.
  
  
• Lead and manage end-to-end Oracle solution implementations.
  
  
• Oversee delivery from initial design through production support for Oracle-related initiatives.

• Stay ahead of trends through continuous learning and certifications (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Cloud).
  
  
• Work directly with clients to provide strategic insights and solutions tailored to their needs.
  
  
• Contribute to internal initiatives and help shape our presence in Colombia.

• Proficient in core project management practices, including issue, risk, escalation management, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance.
  
  
• Hands-on experience delivering Oracle projects using various project management methodologies, with recent experience in Agile environments.
  
  
• Experience delivering Oracle implementations aligned with defined business requirements.
  
  
• Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and contributing to detailed system and functional design; integration experience is a plus.
  
  
• Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and knowledge base content.
  
  
• Background in application support with familiarity in ITIL-based support frameworks.
  
  
• Strong communication skills, including facilitation, stakeholder presentations, and negotiation.
  
  
• Consulting Cloud Certification or Oracle certifications are a plus.
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Provide training and mentorship to technical staff to support their professional growth.
  
  
• Participate in the recruitment process, including conducting interviews to assess candidates’ qualification.
  
  
• Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and manage the workflow of project team members to ensure efficiency and quality.
  
  
• Conduct performance evaluations, delivering timely and constructive feedback to enhance team performance and development.
  
  

Work Environment

The role may be performed remotely or on-site at a client location, depending on project requirements.

For remote work, employees are expected to maintain a professional and distraction-free workspace, including appropriate virtual backgrounds if needed.

A reliable and high-speed internet connection is essential to ensure smooth communication and productivity.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer or information science-related field or commensurate experience required.
