Cloud9 – Bogotá, Colombia (Hybrid)

Full‑time – Operations (Hospitality)

Overview

Cloud9 exists to redefine luxury short‑term rentals with five‑star standards, zero friction, and automation first.

We hire to pull levers that move KPIs, not just fill seats.

Role Summary

The role is the engine of operational excellence.

You transform current operations—procurement, vendor management, turnovers, dashboards, team coordination—into a HubSpot‑driven system of truth.

You own maintenance tickets, turnovers, vendor workflows, procurement cycles, and new unit launches, working with ~20 operations staff, Guest Services, and Marketing.

The scoreboard is cold: HubSpot tickets resolved, KPIs hit, automations live, costs down, CSAT up.

Responsibilities (Outcomes, Not Tasks)

  • HubSpot as source of truth: Implement HubSpot ticketing for all ops within 30 days.

    100% of turnovers, maintenance, and procurement requests logged, routed, and resolved in‑system.

  • On‑time turnovers: ≥98% of units turn over on time with ≤1% re‑cleans by Day 90.

  • Maintenance velocity: Median ticket time‑to‑resolution ≤4h; 90% closed within 24h.

  • Procurement discipline: No stockouts.

    ≤0.5 emergency runs / 100 turns; variance ≤±5% vs par.

  • Vendor performance: ≥95% SLA adherence across cleaning, linen, and maintenance.

  • Unit launches: All new unit openings delivered on time, within budget, and fully operational by launch day.

  • Automation coverage: ≥85% of ops communications automated (HubSpot workflows, Breezeway sync, vendor notifications) with ≤2% errors.

  • Dashboards: Build and maintain live dashboards in HubSpot/Sheets; KPIs published daily by 3:00 pm COT.

  • Cost control: Reduce cost/turn by 10% in 90 days; linen cost/lb – 15% with ≤1% loss.

  • Continuous improvement: Ship ≥1 process/system improvement weekly; eliminate ≥2 bottlenecks/week.

  • HubSpot = single source of truth; 100% compliance.

  • On‑time turns ≥98%; re‑cleans ≤1%.

  • Median TTR ≤4h; 90% ≤24h.

  • Automation ≥85% with ≤2% ops errors.

  • Procurement stable; zero stockouts; variance ≤±5%.

  • Unit launches hit 100% of deadlines and budgets.

  • Daily dashboards live; no hidden performance.

  • Linen cost/lb – 15%; linen loss ≤1%.

  • Team executes faster, with fewer errors, because of the systems you built.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years in project management or operations (hospitality, luxury hotels, or tech‑enabled STR).

  • HubSpot mastery: Tickets, workflows, dashboards, reporting.

    You must prove it live.

  • Evidence of impact: Show KPIs you’ve moved before (reports, dashboards, artifacts).

  • Systems operator: Maps processes, finds bottlenecks, designs automations, and enforces SLAs.
  • Player‑doer: You both manage vendors/teams and get into HubSpot workflows yourself.

  • Tools: HubSpot (non‑negotiable), Breezeway, PMS (Guesty preferred), ClickUp/Asana, Sheets.

    Zapier/Make/n8n a plus.

  • Language: Fluent English; timezone flexibility for US coordination.

  • Bonus: Industrial/Systems Engineering, Lean/Kaizen, SQL/Python basics, IoT locks/sensors, advanced automation design.

Compensation

  • Day 30: HubSpot ticketing v1 live; automation v1 live; SOPs v1 shipped; metrics moved to on‑time ≥ 95%, TTR ≤ 6h, cost/turn – 5%.

  • Day 90: Sustain on‑time ≥ 98%, re‑cleans ≤ 1%; automation ≥ 85% with ≤ 2% error; procurement variance ≤ ±5%; linen cost/lb – 15%; launches 100% on‑time & budget; dashboards fully operational; weekly improvement cadence embedded.
