Job Description

As a
Project Engineer,
you'll play a vital role in supporting project coordination and technical operations.

From procurement and document management to RFIs, submittals, and collaboration with project teams, you'll ensure construction projects are delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and impact.

Job Overview

Employment type: Indefinite term type contract

Shift: Day Shift, 8 AM - 5 PM PST (Pacific Time, Monday-Friday, with flexibility)

Work setup: Onsite in Bogota, Colombia (first 3 months onsite, then hybrid: 3 WFH, 2 office)

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree
  in
  Engineering or Construction-related field
  preferred
• 2 years of relevant experience
  in
  building construction and/or estimating
• Proficiency in
  Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Box, CMiC, and Procore
• Proficient in project engineering and construction workflows

Technical

• Proficiency in
  document control software (e.g., Procore, Box)
• Skilled with PDF editing, overlays, and drawing management tools (e.g., Bluebeam)
• Strong understanding of construction workflows and procurement processes
• Experienced in managing RFIs, submittals, and construction documents
• Comfortable using
  Microsoft Teams and Outlook

Business and Management

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• Basic understanding of business operations and workflows

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams

• Communicate effectively with owners, design teams, and internal stakeholders

Your Daily Tasks

Scope

• Support project coordination and technical operations to achieve organizational goals
• Assist in administration and management of construction project activities
• Collaborate across teams for efficiency and effectiveness

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage procurement by tracking key items and ensuring timely submittals
• Maintain Procore and document logs, record meeting minutes, and support closeout for timely document turnover
• Interpret contract documents, handle RFIs and submittals, and support design issue resolution and change order analysis
• Communicate effectively with the Owner, Design Team, Project Team, and Core Services
