Join our Global Shared Services Team (GSC) at DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF).

We are the captive Shared Service Provider for DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight (DGFF), with colleagues across six service delivery centers.
Responsibilities
- Support the Gatekeeper from pre-bid to post-bid on nominated AFR / OFR opportunities.
- Manage incoming RFQ’s and collaborate with stakeholders to prepare, finalize, and deliver timely and winning tender responses.
- Engage with country teams and regional pricing teams to ensure bid responses are checked for accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
- Translate and execute CPT-IPT-CPT; evaluate country pricing to bid and benchmark against comparative data to optimize pricing effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong contacts with internal customers (Commercial Owner, Industry Sector Sales, Account- and Product-Management).
- Stay up to date with products and relevant market information and developments.
- Follow up on submitted bids with Bid Managers to capture outcomes and lessons learned.
- Understand complex customer requirements in air and ocean transportation and IT solutions.
- Support and document online sourcing activities with country teams and develop technical narratives for Airfreight / Ocean Freight solutions.
- Check internal consistency with guidance and Pricing Instructions; challenge pricing as necessary with CACC/ROCC.
- Support on re-rounds and final offers; validation with regional/countries as needed; analysis to support walk-away decisions; assist decision makers with final rounds.
- Support Continuous Improvement Processes:
- S minimize turnaround times and improve quality; collaborate with Regional AFR / OFR teams to enable competitive pricing solutions; perform other duties as required by Regional AFR / OFR Product.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Knowledge of Airfreight / Ocean Freight forwarding and understanding of supply chain logistics
- Operations experience in a complex global environment
- Strong people and communication skills
- Effective time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum 3 years air/ocean operations experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Advanced Project Management Skills
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Degree in Business Administration or related subject
