Requirements
Must have:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Proficiency in DAX for creating calculated columns, measures, and custom tables
- Experience designing data models using both star and snowflake schemas
- Ability to optimize data loads using parameterized queries and incremental refresh
- Experience implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within Power BI
- Knowledge of data export restrictions, access limitations, and security best practices within Power BI environments
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Power BI Service administration and workspace management
- Experience integrating Power BI with other Microsoft tools and cloud services
- Understanding of performance tuning and data governance in BI environments
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Power BI solutions using best practices in data modeling and visualization
- Create and maintain DAX expressions for business logic and KPIs
- Optimize data refresh strategies and reduce load times using advanced query techniques
- Implement and manage RBAC to ensure secure and compliant access to reports and datasets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards
- Document technical processes, data models, and security configurations
