Position

Position Title: Placement Manager II
Location: Medellin, Colombia (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Support the training and mentorship process of Placement Managers I towards the success of the Placement Operations.

  • Keep customer communication updated, ensuring prompt responses, high-quality customer service, and adequate solutions to customer concerns.

  • Assist Placement Managers III in achieving the operational objectives of the department.

  • Receive and review customers’ requisitions by examining Job Descriptions, assessing requirements, refining responsibilities, and noting any detail that could impact the recruitment process.

  • Collaborate with customers’ Points of Contact (POCs) on active requisitions by exchanging information via email, meetings, or calls to present candidates with appropriate skill sets.

  • Work with the Recruitment team to identify candidates aligned with the customer’s needs by reviewing candidates daily, filtering, and selecting the best qualified individuals.

  • Update records in internal tools, CRMs, ERPs, and other platforms that track requisition status.

  • Coordinate with POCs to schedule interviews and help the Recruitment team book required meetings for the role.

  • Trigger the hiring process according to the standardized process to ensure candidates are operational by start dates (computers, emails, contracts).

  • Conduct follow-up meetings, calls, or emails with customers to guarantee satisfaction and build strong relationships with POCs.
  • Ensure client information packages meet intended profiles and adhere to high-quality standards, maintaining consistent and professional expectations.

  • Monitor delivery of equipment and associated costs, providing visibility to stakeholders and removing obstacles affecting efficiency.

  • Provide Placement services primarily to key accounts, ensuring top-tier service.

  • Guarantee prompt resolution of issues related to the Placement process and adherence to SLA processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • English communication skills (B2 - C1) required.

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, recruitment, or customer-facing roles.

  • Familiarity with software development terminology and ability to communicate at a basic technical level (Frontend, Backend, DevOps, QA, etc.) preferred.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in data collection, management, and analysis.

  • Professional certifications related to recruitment or project management are advantageous.

  • Advanced knowledge in specific staffing industries or sectors.

  • Additional languages or international experience.

  • Goal-oriented with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Strong customer-facing communication skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication.

  • Skilled in problem analysis and solving.

  • Planning and organizational prowess.

  • Determined and customer-service oriented.

  • Able to work collaboratively and foster a team environment.

Key tech skills & knowledge

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot to manage client interactions, track engagements, and maintain relationships.
