The Paid Social Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of paid social media campaigns across various platforms.
This role requires a deep understanding of social media advertising ecosystems, a data-driven approach to campaign optimization, and the ability to craft compelling ad creative and copy.
You will be a key player in driving client success by generating leads, increasing brand awareness, and maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive paid social media strategies aligned with client business goals and target audiences.
- Conduct thorough audience research, competitive analysis, and keyword/interest targeting to inform campaign setup.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and clients to define campaign objectives, KPIs, and budget allocation.
- Set up and launch paid social campaigns on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Pinterest.
- Manage daily campaign performance, including bid adjustments, budget pacing, and audience targeting refinements.
- Create and implement A/B tests for ad creative, copy, and landing pages to optimize performance.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., CPA, CPC, CTR, ROAS) and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Generate and present detailed performance reports to clients, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations.
- Use data to tell a story and justify strategic decisions to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with creative teams or freelancers to develop engaging and effective ad creative (images, videos, carousels).
- Write compelling, platform-specific ad copy that resonates with target audiences and drives action.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social media campaigns for e-commerce clients.
- Proven expertise with Meta Business Suite, with a focus on DPA (Dynamic Product Ads) and driving conversions for online stores.
- Experience with advertising on other platforms like TikTok and Pinterest, particularly for driving sales.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of using data to optimize for e-commerce metrics like ROAS and CPA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting ad copy for e-commerce products.
- Experience using Shopify data to inform and optimize paid social campaigns.
- Technical Proficiency: A deep, hands-on understanding of how paid social media advertising platforms work, from campaign set-up to advanced targeting and bidding strategies.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable optimizations.
- Creativity & Storytelling: The capacity to develop compelling ad concepts and copy that capture attention and drive conversions.
