Job Title: Oracle Cloud ERP Solution Architect
Reports to: President
Location & Travel
Work Location/Travel: Remote within Colombia or on-site at client locations.
Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for client engagements.
Role Summary
We’re seeking driven and passionate professionals to join our growing team in Colombia.
You’ll collaborate with global experts on cutting-edge projects, deliver tailored solutions for clients, and play a key role in establishing Apex IT’s footprint in LatAm. This role offers a unique blend of remote/hybrid work, professional development, and opportunities to innovate.
The Oracle ERP Solution Architect owns the client project solution and the direction of the project.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Project Leadership
- Serve as the primary solution architect for client projects, owning the overall project direction and solution strategy.
- Provide executive alignment, ensuring project goals, expectations, and escalations are effectively managed.
- Oversee issue resolution, proactively addressing challenges and risks.
- Actively participate in projects to guide solution implementation and execution.
- Solution Ownership & Functional Leadership
- Lead the functional relationship with customers, ensuring alignment on architecture and business objectives.
- Guide the project team on functional architecture, collaborating with technical teams to deliver optimal solutions.
- Work closely with functional leads to determine the best solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Oracle Cloud applications, including:
- Oracle Cloud Finance: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets
- Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM): Inventory, Costing, Order Management, Manufacturing, Supply & Demand Planning
- Oracle Cloud Procurement
- Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM): Project Foundation, Costing, Billing, Resourcing, Management
- Project Direction & Strategic Alignment
- Drive project design discussions, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and internal leadership.
- Lead the team in delivering best-fit solutions, optimizing Oracle Cloud capabilities for business success.
- Maintain a holistic view of the customer’s implementation, ensuring consistency, quality, and long-term success.
- Support high-level solutioning for new and emerging areas within the project scope.
- Sales Process & Internal Initiatives
- Contribute to sales cycles, assisting with Statement of Work (SOW) reviews, strategy development, risk assessment, and approvals.
- Participate in talent acquisition, conducting interviews and recommending key resources for project success.
- Advise on staffing investments to strengthen the team’s capabilities and delivery excellence.

Required Education and Experience
- Strong background supporting or selling in related markets.
- Strong consulting background.
- Bachelor’s degree in or commensurate experience required.
