Job Summary:
As an MSAP Data Support you will conduct audits of sustainability assessments for vendors participating in the MSAP.
The MSAP is an annual assessment program for vendors in which the objective is to:
- Provide contracting and purchasing influencers and decision makers with an understanding of the sustainability performance of the products they specify and purchase.
- Integrate product performance data into the product selection, contracting, and purchasing process to support environmental and social responsibility goals.
- Provide suppliers with analytics and performance metrics to ensure alignment with their customers' goals and to guide continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of MSAP assessments and support with uploading documents into the documentation library and provide status updates to managers as requested.
- Review a wide variety of vendor documentation to ensure compliance with MSAP standards.
- Provide guidance / feedback to the managers on the quality/types of documents being uploaded.
- Assist in compiling and reviewing vendor kick off and results report materials (e.g,prepping PPTX decks, coordinating AVA scrapes, etc., identifying documentation needs).
- Utilize internal project management software (Click-Up) to communicate tasks that are in process, completed, etc.
- Review action items from monthly touchpoints for all vendors, and support managers with completion of action items.
- Identify and escalate any areas of improvement to the MSAP, with a focus on compliance with any current or upcoming regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, hospitality, supply chain, or related areas.
- Proven experience in managing data across multiple channels, with the ability to identify cross-functional outcomes.
- Strong understanding of sustainability in manufacturing (Hospitality experience is preferred).
- Experience in interior design built environment, including: furniture, fixtures and equipment, architectural building products (finishes), architecture, design and construction.
- Well-versed in sustainability (knowledge of eco-labels and certifications, green building standards, ESG principles, CSR initiatives).
- Familiarity with physical products (materials, chemicals, manufacturing, packaging, etc.).
- Proficiency in software like Excel, Google Workspace products (e.g. Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive) task management tools (e.g. Click-Up), CRM (e.g. HubSpot), file management tools (e.g. DropBox).
- Understanding of data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI).
