Responsibilities
- Assists the Trade Specialist and Supervisor to ensure a quality Preparation and execution of all Curative and Breakdown Maintenance works on site.
- Using CMIMS, follows and prepares all Curative Work Activities in line with the approved planning issued by the CMMS planner.
- Using CMIMS, follows and prepares all Spare Parts required to execute the Curative Work Activities in line with the approved planning issued by the CMMS planner.
- Assists the Trade Supervisor and/or Trade Foreman with the opening of PTW’s which require technical or administrative modification after site review.
- Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected, as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation of activities.
- Enters intervention reports, SCE results, time writing data, and TECO status for completed work orders under his/her area of responsibility in the CMIMS.
- Ensures all associated PTW’s are closed out at the end of the concerned intervention(s).
- Participates and represents his/her Discipline in the Daily Site Permit Co-ordination meetings.
- Carries out, at Trade Specialist request, any operation within his/her area of responsibility.
- Is responsible for the preparation and execution of jobs/tasks assigned by hierarchy.
Methods
- Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them, and suggests improvements.
- Keeps a critical eye on current Curative maintenance programmes and suggests improvements.
- Warns support and planning teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts.
- Keeps track of any backlog of work in his/her area of responsibility and suggests corrective measures to the Trade Supervisor.
- Suggests improvements and requests modifications to Trade Specialist and/or Trade Supervisor.
Quality Assurance
- Verifies the quality of his/her Preparations by frequent on-site checks and communication with concerned Trade Supervisor or Foreman.
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations.
- Must be computer literate with specific professional knowledge in SAP, Electronic Permit systems, MS Office applications.
- Must have general knowledge of: Turbo-generators, compressors, firewater pumps, HP barrel pumps, submersible water pumps, process & utilities valves, diesel generators, etc.
