This position plays a pivotal role in the advancement of our global content strategy.
The Global Content Marketing Specialist reports to the Senior Manager, Global Content Operations and works directly with the Global Marketing Senior Vice President, the global content writing team, and global corporate marketing colleagues to execute marketing initiatives that drive awareness of and engagement with our global thought leadership content.
Focused primarily on partnering with digital experience, design and web publishing teams, the Global Content Marketing Specialist will manage our publishing process to achieve our goals for user engagement and organic search traffic.
In addition, they will lead the delivery of campaigns that attract new users to Gallagher’s content, in partnership with our internal creative design, digital experience and web publishing teams.
Additional project or traffic management responsibilities to be assigned.
How you'll make an impact Establishment and building of strong relationships across internal marketing resources Project management of marketing strategies and campaigns in support of Regional marketing/sales plans and goals Timeline management Status reporting Campaign monitoring and reporting Activation of global thought leadership marketing campaigns Tracking and measuring effectiveness of marketing efforts in driving sales, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI Ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency of corporate standards Management of global content production to meet timelines Other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Global Content Operations and Senior Vice President About you Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, and 3 years relevant experience in B2B marketing Direct experience in digital content publishing, search engine marketing experience is a plus Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel Experience with Workfront or other project management software/applications Proven record of successful multi-project management Experience creating and managing detailed work plans based on defined scope and objectives Strong communication skills Excellent time management & organizational skills Experience managing integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including paid, earned and owned media channels Insurance industry experience preferred
