This position is a hands-on role, integrated in an energetic growing team where the primary role will be to take care of the company global IT Infrastructure.

Linux Engineer serves as a keeper for our organization infrastructure, focusing on both day-to-day operations and intermediate level optimization tasks, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.

Duties include user access management, backup implementation, performance and troubleshooting to support business requirements.

Role requires participation in on-call rotations, incident response, and collaboration on simple projects.

+ Oversee the health, security, and performance of Linux servers and systems

+ Maintain system stability and ensure high availability

+ Implement backup and recovery strategies

+ Manage capacity planning and resource allocation

+ Implement and manage security controls, patches, and updates

+ Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and threats

+ Enforce access controls and privilege management

+ Establish best practices and standards for Linux environments

+ Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes

+ Install, configure, and optimize Linux operating systems

+ Manage software packages and dependencies

+ Provide technical support for complex issues

+ Perform root cause analysis

+ Develop and implement preventative measures

+ Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems

+ Experience with containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernets)

+ Document system configurations and changes

+ Work with change requests & incident monitoring system (ServiceNow)



**Key requirements**

+ Other experience in IT infrastructure technologies will be considered

+ Ability to take ownership on simple projects



**Education/ Qualifications**



Identify the essential qualifications, education, and certifications necessary for success in the role.



+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT.

+ Certifications in Linux system administration are considered a plus, such as RHCSA, LPIC-1, CompTIA Linux# **LI-Hybrid**
