About The Role
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Level 1 Technician to join our growing remote team.
This role focuses on performing essential background tasks such as system tune-ups, remote repairs, diagnostics, and health checks—all to keep our clients' technology running smoothly and securely.
As a member of our technical operations unit, you'll collaborate closely with both technicians and admin staff in a supportive, process-driven environment.
This is an ideal position for someone eager to grow in the MSP and cybersecurity space, with hands-on exposure to real-world IT systems, ticketing platforms, and remote management tools.
You'll gain valuable experience while helping protect and optimize digital infrastructures for businesses across the country.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform routine system maintenance, including tune-ups, updates, and optimization tasks.
- Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues on client machines.
- Run background repair tasks, health checks, and automation routines using company tools.
- Monitor alerts and ticket queues in Syncro RMM/PSA, Microsoft 365, and other tools and escalate issues when necessary.
- Apply fixes and document resolutions following internal SOPs.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work, provide updates, and escalate concerns.
- Utilize Microsoft 365, company portals, and collaboration platforms for daily tasks.
- Follow cybersecurity and compliance protocols during all client interactions and technical processes.
- Update SOPs as processes evolve to ensure documentation is current
Qualifications
- Required Skills & Experience
- Has at least 1-2 years of experience, should be able to demonstrate technical and logical skills.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation/repairs.
- Familiarity with PowerShell is an advantage; training will be provided.
- Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with team members in a remote setting.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in handling routine background tasks.
- Reliable internet connection and a secure, distraction-free workspace.

- Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in MSP/MSSP environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
- Exposure to RMM tools (e.g., Syncro), PSA systems, or automation/scripting tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and collaborative work platforms.
