Role Overview

You'll play a key part in supporting corporate and charity filings, helping clients stay organized and informed, and contributing to meaningful causes.
This position is ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities.
You'll be trusted to manage schedules, assist with drafting documents, and communicate directly with clients—making a real impact every day.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (USA)
Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Assisting with corporate filings in Alberta
- Learning and applying the Business Corporations Act (Alberta) and the Societies Act (Alberta) - Pass Levels 1 and 2 of CORES (Corporate Registry exams) - We will provide you with all the necessary information to complete the courses.
- Communicating with clients regarding file status and required information
- Collecting and filing documents for charity registrations with the CRA
- Organizing and maintaining client documentation
- Attending meetings and utilizing AI note-taking software
- Assisting in drafting charity plans, including activities, fundraising, and basic financials
- Managing calendars and scheduling
- Supporting client onboarding
- Helping with administrative tasks such as invoicing, bill payments, and user access
- Potentially assisting with document automation using Lawmatics
What We're Looking For:
- At least one to two years of experience administrative or legal support roles
- Willingness to study and pass CORES Level 1 and 2
- Familiarity with or interest in corporate and charity law (We will teach you charity and corporate law)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Professional communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to learn and apply legal frameworks
- Organizational and time management skills
- Basic financial literacy
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with legal software tools
