Overview
Job Title: Legal Assistant
Location: Remote (Latin America)
Working Schedule: 8am - 5pm EST
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of trademarks and patents, including maintaining records and ensuring timely renewals.
- Coordinate with attorneys to facilitate legal processes and documentation.
- Handle administrative duties, including managing emails and scheduling for the COO.
- Conduct research and gather information as needed for legal procedures.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking legal documents and deadlines.
- Provide support in other operational tasks as required by the COO.
- Support may involve work related to intellectual property and managing patents and trademarks.
Qualifications
- Advanced level of English proficiency (C1).
- At least 1 year of experience as Legal Assistant or related positions.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Experience with intellectual property and managing patents and trademarks.
- Legal background or education.
- Familiarity with Airtable or similar software.
