We are seeking a Lead Test Automation Engineer ((dot)NET) to drive quality assurance initiatives for our innovative digital payments platform.
This role focuses on leadership, mentoring, and technical expertise, with responsibilities equally balanced between managing automation testing efforts and conducting manual testing across varied systems and applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and assessment of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports
- Oversee functional and non-functional testing, such as regression, acceptance, usability, and cross-platform evaluations
- Design and implement advanced security testing approaches for MVC/SPA applications and Web APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams while adhering to SAFe principles
- Develop and improve efficient defect tracking and risk management processes
- Build, upgrade, and maintain scalable automation frameworks utilizing Selenium and C#
- Conduct and assess performance testing to validate system scalability and reliability
- Standardize API testing procedures using .NET frameworks and related tools
- Promote best practices for continuous testing within CI/CD environments (TeamCity, Octopus, etc.)
- Leverage advanced diagnostic tools like TestRail, MS SQL, ELK stack, Postman, Fiddler, and Sentry for comprehensive insights
- Encourage teamwork and address technical hurdles to improve product quality
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in QA analysis, automation strategy design, and test estimation
- Over 1 year of leadership experience in similar roles
- Proficiency in Selenium with C# and SpecFlow combined with Gherkin syntax for efficient test creation
- Background in holistic API testing using .NET frameworks
- Expertise in backend testing, such as working with Windows services and APIs
- Familiarity with prominent automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent technologies
- Extensive understanding of TestRail, MS SQL, ELK stack, Sentry, Postman, Fiddler, and CI/CD tools like TeamCity and Octopus
- Understanding of Agile methodologies to support continuous testing advancements
- Qualifications in defect management, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation strategies
- Showcase of leadership and mentoring abilities to shape QA team growth and collaboration practices
- Capability to convey complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced English proficiency (B2+ level or higher) for seamless teamwork with English-speaking teams
