Join our team as a Lead .NET Developer tasked with modernizing legacy APIs and replacing ODBC connections with a robust, multi-tenant REST API hosted in AWS.
You will work within an agile scrum team to design, develop, and implement API solutions that improve integration capabilities for the customer platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a modern multi-tenant API integration service hosted in AWS
- Rationalize existing API implementations into a single public-facing REST API
- Develop replacement components for ODBC and SOAP-to-REST integrations
- Create and manage API endpoints and an API gateway
- Implement API management capabilities for control and monetization
- Participate actively in agile scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for discovery and analysis activities
- Contribute to architecture and design of API strategies
- Lead quality assurance efforts including test planning and execution
- Prepare documentation and support knowledge transfer
- Support post-implementation stabilization and transition
- Manage project backlog and reporting for the development team
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with .NET Framework and C# development
- Proven leadership experience in leading development teams
- Strong background in designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) deployment and management
- Good understanding of SQL and database integration
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience with API monetization and management tools
- Knowledge of Atlassian Jira for project tracking
- Familiarity with ODBC integrations
- Experience with creating read-only data repositories to optimize runtime databases
