Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to client requests and maintain clear communication
- Work collaboratively with team members and exchange expertise
- Develop clean, efficient, compatible, and testable code
- Maintain and enhance documentation both within the codebase and externally
- Provide mentorship and engage in knowledge sharing with engineers, leading technical discussions
- Lead the creation, ownership, and review of technical design documents and proofs of concept
- Interpret business needs and cooperate closely with stakeholders
- Make informed engineering and product decisions using data analysis
- Continuously enhance engineering standards and workflows
- Adopt an agile, iterative, and inquisitive approach to problem-solving
- Act as a subject matter expert within your team and across the organization
- Participate in production support rotations and lead investigations and resolutions of incidents
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in Go Language development
- Proficient in Python programming
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Deep understanding of HTTP request and response lifecycle
- Experience designing and implementing microservices from scratch
- Skilled in leading and contributing to architectural discussions
- Ability to provide production support, incident debugging, and resolution
- Capable of working independently with clients without supervision
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+) or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with gRPC and Protocol Buffers
- Experience with GraphQL development
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Ability to create debugging, tracing, and dashboards using DataDog
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift databases
