We are seeking a
Lead Data Analyst
to join our team and play an instrumental role in driving data-driven decision-making for our game development efforts.
This position involves optimizing product insights, developing data pipelines in Apache Airflow, and collaborating directly with stakeholders to unlock the potential of key metrics and analytical tools.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Apache Airflow
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into actionable data insights
- Develop SQL-based queries to extract and analyze structured data from large-scale databases
- Create dashboards and reports using Tableau or equivalent tools to present findings
- Define and analyze product business metrics such as LTV, ARPPU, and Retention rates
- Leverage Databricks on AWS or similar platforms for advanced data processing
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within data workflows
- Offer expertise in PySpark to enhance data integration and analysis
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or related role in game development or relevant industries
- Expertise in PySpark, SQL development, and dashboarding tools such as Tableau
- Proficiency in using Databricks or equivalents like Snowflake or BigQuery
- Background in calculating and interpreting game-related business metrics (LTV, ARPPU, Retention)
- Strong verbal communication skills with B2 English proficiency or higher
- Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Understanding of Jira and Slack for project tracking and communication
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Background in using Airflow or equivalent ETL/ELT platforms for workflow scheduling
- Familiarity with AWS Simple Storage Service as part of data infrastructure
- Skills in Salesforce Tableau or similar reporting tools
- Experience in game analytics or gaming environments to complement data skills
