About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager for the B2B Channel who will be responsible for the sales and growth of TP-Link's corporate solutions in the Colombian territory.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Consultation: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert technical consultation and guidance on TP-Link's networking products and solutions, including routers, switches, access points, and security devices.

  • Relationship with clients: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing B2B clients in the region of Colombia.

  • Sales Growth: Identify new business opportunities within the B2B market and drive sales growth.

  • Account Planning: Maximize the value of long-term relationships through a structured approach to identifying opportunities, aligning solutions with customer needs, and planning specifics to strengthen the account.

  • Solution Selling: Identify customer pain points and business challenges and propose comprehensive networking solutions that address their specific needs and objectives, leveraging TP-Link's product portfolio and capabilities.

  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to support the sales process, including technical presentations, product demonstrations, solution architecture design, and proposal development to help close deals and achieve revenue targets.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and technical documentation, and provide regular reports to the management team on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar disciplines.

  • Postgraduate studies in Sales, Business Administration, or similar is a plus.

  • At least 5 years' experience developing sales in a corporate channel for technology, telecommunications and/or networking companies.

  • Outstanding negotiation skills.

  • Availability to work 100% on-site and to travel frequently within the national territory.

  • Fluency in English is a must.
