Blanc Labs is looking for a Junior/Intermediate Full Stack Developer with Java to implement and support scalable cloud applications that transform our customers’ business.

This role requires a strong front-end and back-end development background while translating vital business needs into code in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cloud-native web applications that are scalable, responsive, and secure
  • Automate unit tests to ensure code quality and coverage
  • Participate in code reviews to assess software logic and design patterns
  • Execute initial design and development of new software or revise existing code base
  • Produce detailed specifications and documentation
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs and processes as necessary

Qualifications

  • A solid SDLC understanding with a degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of experience developing applications with the following characteristics:
  • Creation of microservices in Java 8 using Spring Boot (Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Cloud)
  • Build RESTful APIs
  • Creation and maintenance of unit tests under JUnit using Mockito or similar
  • Web application development using Angular (version 10 or higher)
  • Knowledge of responsive web design and Bootstrap
  • Experience with JavaScript package management (npm)
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
  • Handling DDL and DML statements in SQL
  • Cloud development experience with Azure
  • Experience with Mulesoft is a plus
  • Handling Docker containers
  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo
  • Experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab
  • FinTech experience is a plus
  • Node.js experience is a plus
