Job Description
We are seeking a
Junior Electrical Engineer
to support the design, coordination, and implementation of electrical systems in mining infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow in a dynamic, safety-critical environment, contributing to the development of high-voltage and low-voltage systems under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing electrical design packages to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
  
  
• Support the installation and testing of electrical systems including lighting, grounding, backup power, and control panels.
  
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, commissioning, QA/QC) to address technical challenges on site.
  
  
• Participate in inspections, pre-commissioning activities, and energization processes.
  
  
• Help prepare documentation and reports for electrical scope and quality control.
  
  
• Learn and apply international standards relevant to mining operations (NEC, IEEE, etc.).
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  
  
• At least 5 years of experience in construction projects.
  
  
• Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
  
  
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office; exposure to BIM or MS Project is a plus.
  
  
• Fluent in Spanish; intermediate English preferred.
