IT Support Engineer, Tier 3
to join our team and help us build and maintain efficient, secure, and user-friendly solutions to support our patients and staff.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 IT Systems & Cloud Engineer to join our global IT team.
This role will lead the most complex escalations and projects involving AWS infrastructure, Google Workspace administration, Rippling IT modules automation, Identity & Access Management (IDP/SSO), Mobile Device Management (MDM) , and core cybersecurity operations .
The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a strong focus on automation, security, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- Optimize AWS cost, performance, and security posture.
- Integrate AWS services with enterprise systems for automation and monitoring.
- Manage and secure Google Workspace users, groups, and policies.
- Automate Google Workspace user lifecycle management and mailbox provisioning.
- Implement Google Workspace DLP and compliance policies.
- Configure and manage Rippling IT modules for onboarding and offboarding automation.
- Integrate Rippling with IDP, MDM, and cloud services for seamless workflows.
- Automate IT asset management and role-based access control via Rippling.
- Administer and enhance identity providers like Okta or Azure AD.
- Implement SSO integrations for SaaS and internal applications.
- Enforce MFA and role-based access control policies.
- Deploy and manage MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Jamf) across all device platforms.
- Ensure device compliance with encryption, patching, and security standards.
- Act as escalation point for advanced cybersecurity incidents and investigations.
- Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud and endpoint environments.
- Implement security best practices aligned with HIPAA and NIST frameworks.
- Maintain and audit security logs, configurations, and access controls.
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues and mentor junior IT staff and provide technical leadership.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term remediation plans.
- Document technical procedures, known issues, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for specialized IT support.
What You'll Bring To The Team:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), Security+, Network+, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Enterprise-level experience managing AWS infrastructure.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Rippling (or similar), IDP/SSO, and MDM platforms.
- Strong grasp of networking, cloud security, and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Skilled in automation and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Independent, problem-solving mindset with minimal supervision needed.
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and proactive in system improvements.
