The Information Technology department is seeking an experienced IT Change Coordinator to join our IT Service Management Program.
The IT Change Management Coordinator is responsible for applying IT change management processes to ensure smooth transitions, minimize service disruptions, and maintain compliance with policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer and enforce the IT Change Management process, ensuring compliance with established policies and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Review, validate, and track IT change requests, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and impact assessments are conducted.
- Coordinate and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring relevant stakeholders are involved.
- Facilitate communication between IT teams and business units regarding upcoming changes, risks, and potential impacts.
- Assess the potential impact and risks associated with proposed IT change.
- Work with technical teams to identify mitigation strategies for minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Ensure rollback and contingency plans are documented and reviewed for all high‑impact changes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT change‑related inquiries.
- Work closely with IT teams, project managers, business units, and external vendors to ensure successful change implementation.
- Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders regarding the status of IT changes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve IT change management processes based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Ensure alignment with IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, SOX) and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct post‑implementation reviews to analyze the effectiveness of changes and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- English level B2 and above.
- Associate degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, IT, etc.) preferred.
- ITIL Foundations V4 (or comparable certification).
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, ITIL, ITSM, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple change requests simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Problem‑solving and root‑cause identification skills.
- Capability to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
