Location: Remote – Colombia
Work Environment: Colombian and international teams
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST
Salary range : Max $10,000,000COP per month (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Long-term

ROLE
We’re seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer .
This role is designed for a skilled IT professional with strong experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining networks, servers, and cloud environments.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring client systems remain stable, secure, and optimized by proactively addressing outages and performance issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor performance across all systems within client environments, identifying and resolving outages or performance issues.
- Proactively respond to alerts and incidents, focusing on quick resolution of outages to minimize downtime for clients.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless handling and resolution of client issues within SLAs.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and health checks across client environments, ensuring all systems remain stable and secure.
- Assist with the implementation and administration of network security measures, backup solutions, and system updates.
- Develop and improve processes for automating NOC tasks and reporting, driving operational efficiency.
- Document resolutions and standard operating procedures to support team efficiency and client knowledge.
- Use ticketing systems and similar tools to track service metrics (SLA, CSAT, NPS) and improve overall service delivery.
- Continuously seeking education and training opportunities to improve service delivery and technical skills, and to track industry’s best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced English level (B2-C1-C2)
- Experience: 3+ years in IT support or network management.
Skills:
- At least 3 certifications required: A+, Server+, NET+, Security+, Linux+ (or equivalents).
- Strong familiarity with M365 administration, virtualization technologies, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with clients.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for improving system monitoring and operational efficiency.
- Proactive mindset, ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients.
