What This Role Looks Like (Job Overview)
We’re partnering with a U.S.-based mechanical contracting company to hire a highly detail-oriented HVAC Project Manager.
In this role, you’ll be the central hub for procurement, submittals, and scheduling — ensuring every project transitions seamlessly from sale to execution.
If you thrive on precision, coordination, and keeping complex schedules on track, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead the submittal process from start to final client approval (Procore)
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with focus on HVAC equipment lead times
- Place and track purchase orders to align with project milestones and site readiness
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and field teams to ensure smooth execution
- Manage closeout documentation (Startup Reports, T&B reports, Owner’s Manuals)
- Audit and track order statuses, providing regular updates to leadership
- Become a power user of ServiceTitan for project scheduling and reminders
What You’ll Bring (Educational Background & Experience)
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (experience may substitute degree)
- 3+ years in project management, procurement, or coordination within HVAC/mechanical construction
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, components, and manufacturing lead times
- Experience managing submittals, change orders, and schedules in office-based roles
- Proficiency with Procore (or similar: Bluebeam, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Excel
- ServiceTitan experience is a plus
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
