About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Human Resources Officer
to join our team in Bogotá.
The Human Resources Officer will focus on employee relations, human resources operations, compliance with Colombian labor laws, and day-to-day human resources administration.
This role ensures a positive employee experience and supports the smooth execution of human resources processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns and human resources-related inquiries.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and wellness programs.
- Human Resources Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and personnel files in accordance with Colombian labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with all local employment regulations, including social security and tax requirements.
- Prepare human resources reports and analytics for management review.
- Compensation & Benefits Support
- Assist in payroll preparation and benefits administration.
- Coordinate with Finance and external providers for employee benefits and insurance plans.
- Policy & Process Implementation
- Support the rollout of human resources policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with company standards and Colombian legislation.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on human resources policies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of experience
in human resources operations, employee relations, or similar roles (experience in multinational or BPO environments is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of
Colombian labor laws
and human resources compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English and Spanish proficiency preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using human resources information systems or management systems.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Spanish-English is an advantage.
