Overview
We're looking for a
Full Stack Engineer
who can own the full data experience—back to front.
If you've built back-end systems from scratch and also enjoy bringing data to life on the front end, this role is for you.
You'll design and maintain the
data warehouse + API integrations
that connect tools like QuickBooks, Justworks, and Harvest, while also building a
web portal and visualizations
for clients.
The back end will be the heavier lift here, so we want someone who can point to real back-end projects they've built and then grown into full stack.
We're aiming for someone early in their career—
2–5 years of experience
—with strong technical foundations and the drive to keep growing.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain back-end systems: data warehouses, APIs, and pipelines that unify business data.
- Develop and deploy secure, web-based portals where clients can access financial and operational insights.
- Automate workflows to replace manual Excel-based processes.
- Integrate multiple data sources (QuickBooks, Justworks, Harvest, Excel, etc.) into unified systems.
- Design clean, intuitive front-end experiences for client-facing dashboards.
- Document architecture, workflows, and best practices to keep systems scalable and maintainable.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, ideally starting in back-end development before moving into full stack.
- Proven ability to build and maintain back-end systems from scratch (data models, APIs, integrations).
- Proficiency in Python and/or another backend language (R, C++, etc.) with experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and web development for client-facing portals.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT workflows and data pipeline automation.
- Experience using tools like GitHub, Jira, or similar for version control and project management.
- Clear, structured communicator—able to document systems, processes, and KPIs.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.).
- Experience embedding dashboards securely into client portals.
- Knowledge of financial or operational KPIs for SMBs.
- Curiosity for emerging AI/automation tools to optimize workflows
