Job description

Yerbalist is a leading digital marketing agency that specializes in working with health & wellness D2C brands in restricted categories, as well as retail cannabis.

Our mission is to help as many customers to get their hands on the pain-relieving, anxiety-relieving, and depression-relieving products as possible and do so with the help of spreading the digital word.

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Facebook/Meta Advertising Specialist who's interested in joining a fast-growing organization and helping accomplish the team mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign buildout: Plan, create, and implement comprehensive Facebook ad campaigns targeting specific audiences to drive traffic and sales for health & wellness D2C brands and retail cannabis clients.

  • Analysis and insight: Analyze campaign performance data, optimize ad strategies, and provide regular reports on key performance metrics (CPA/CAC, ROAS) to maximize ROI.

  • Monitoring: Monitor ad spend, adjust budgets, and ensure efficient allocation of resources based on campaign objectives and performance.

  • Creative testing: Determine budgets and creative/assets requirements for ad testing.

  • Creative briefs and quality assurance: Write ideas for ad creative briefs, Implement a quality assurance process for creative assets, Provide feedback on landing page optimization.

  • Ad platform / client account management: Manage day-to-day relationships and communications with ad platforms and partners.

  • Create Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), wrap-up reports, seasonal, and yearly plans.

  • Meetings: Participate in regular (biweekly) client calls and meetings, Participate in 3x weekly standups.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Facebook advertising to recommend innovative strategies for client accounts.

Job Skills:

  • 2+ years of paid social Facebook advertising experience in an agency or in-house setting.

  • Expertise in the consumer journey, e-commerce, direct response, brand building, and awareness.

  • Deep knowledge of marketing metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, LTV, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of market, consumer, and competitive research techniques and tools.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Superior time management skills, including handling multiple projects and client ad accounts, while managing changing internal and client-facing priorities.

  • Innovative, forward-thinking, and collaborative team player.

  • Highly experienced with Facebook audience segmentation, messaging, and budgeting.

  • Experienced in creating and executing tests and learning opportunities.

  • Positive, 'can-do,' and 'will-do' attitude.

  • Embrace challenges as learning and growth opportunities with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Constantly challenge the status quo to find novel solutions to campaign planning, execution, reporting, and internal processes.

Tech stack knowledge:

  • Facebook/Meta ads: Comfortable working with Facebook Ads Manager and related 3rd-party analytics tools (e.g., Triple Whale, Northbeam) to track campaign performance, make data-driven decisions, and optimize ad spend effectively.

  • A/B testing: Experience with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and retargeting strategies to improve ad performance and achieve client objectives.

  • Asana: Proficiency in utilizing Asana for task management, project coordination, and team collaboration.

  • Slack: Proficiency in utilizing Slack for team communication.

  • Google workspace: Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive) for seamless client communication, document sharing, and team organization.
