The Opportunity
This is a full-time, six-month internship (Pasantía)
Assisting with the development of innovative solutions to environmental problems
Understanding the regulatory environment in Colombia for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery
Working with the team to evaluate, select, and apply standard environmental engineering planning and design techniques, procedures, and criteria for site development and master planning projects
Help review project information and produce reports for environmental due diligence processes and sustainability frameworks in Colombia and LatAm.
Hands-on experience in identifying and managing environmental aspects, supporting environmental impact assessment (EIA) studies, conducting socioenvironmental risk analyses, and contributing to sustainability initiatives through the application of ESG reporting frameworks and global standards such as GRI, SASB, and ISO 14001.
These experiences will help you develop a comprehensive understanding of environmental compliance, strategic sustainability planning, and stakeholder engagement within both public and private sector contexts.
Is this role right for you?
Pursuing their bachelor’s degree (Pregrado) in Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related subjects.
Advanced proficiency (verbal and written, B2 or above) in English
Foundational knowledge and skills in areas such as environmental management systems, waste management and circular economy, environmental impact assessment, water and energy efficiency, Colombian environmental legislation, among others.
Good communication (written and oral) skills essential for team-based working
Professional demeanor
Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges

Bogotá Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Bogotá is COP 1,750,000 to COP 1,850,000 per month.
This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level.
Benefits are not included in the base salary.
Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Bogotá will differ.
