We specialize in photovoltaic energy generation and energy storage projects, from design, planning, and financing to construction and operation.

Our current development pipeline exceeds 2 GW in over 10 countries, ranging from 20 kW installations to 600 MW installations.

Entoria Energy is also expanding its wind energy portfolio, as well as other renewable energy sources.

Our desired candidate

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or from any related field with a comprehensive knowledge of energy storage technologies, competent in conducting market analysis for energy storage applications at commercial, industrial, and large scale levels, in isolated, hybrid, grid-connected, peak saving, and uninterrupted power supply applications.

Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and implementing energy storage systems, must be a team player, able to manage his own workload, with good oral and written communication and able to adapt to new cultures.

The work base will depend on the candidate's location and place of residence, but he/she must be willing to travel and meet with local technical teams in countries where Entoria has a presence, notably in Spain, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Ecuador and others.

The candidate will make periodic visits to projects under construction, commissioning, and operation.

Activities to carry out

• Market analysis of energy storage solutions.
  
  

• Evaluation and selection of alternatives.
  
  

• Preparation of calculations and designs of energy storage systems.
  
  

• Technical supervision of projects in development, execution, and operation.
  
  

• Field information gathering for engineering adjustments.
  
  

• Preparation of electrical plans with construction details.
  
  

• Obtaining quantities of work and budget preparation.
  
  

• Construction scheduling and supervision and monitoring of schedules.
  
  

• Preparation of technical reports according to regulations.
  
  

• Visits to projects and technical interaction with clients.
  
  

• Technical support during the installation and commissioning of energy storage facilities.
  
  

Type of contract

6-month probationary contract, and indefinite contract after successful completion of probation.

Education, Skills and Experience

Education and training

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Master's degree in Solar and Renewable Energy

• Master's degree in Thermal and Electrical Installations.

• Languages - Fluent/native speaker of Spanish, intermediate level of spoken and written English

• Proficiency in Office 365, advanced level of Microsoft Office package, AutoCAD, PVSYST, Google Earth, Project

Professional experience

• Industrial or electrical engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in designing energy storage installations for isolated, hybrid, grid-connected, and peak saving applications.
  
  

• Experience in photovoltaic projects, extensive knowledge of applicable technical and regulatory agreements

• Essential knowledge and experience in sizing, calculation, equipment selection, design, installation, and commissioning of storage systems for industrial-level photovoltaic applications, peak saving, or utility.
  
  

• Knowledge of sizing and calculation of photovoltaic systems using PVsyst or similar simulation software is valued.
