Position Overview
As a Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing large-scale web-based application databases that power business operations.
You'll support our architectural vision of delivering quality, scalability, performance, and functionality through robust database management.

Key Responsibilities
Database Management & Performance
Maintain and optimize database systems in collaboration with data development and software engineering teams
Own performance monitoring, tuning, and issue resolution within the database environment
Proactively identify current state issues and implement effective solutions
Conduct regular SQL Server audits and SQL job inventory management
Technical Operations

Manage SQL transactional replication and disaster recovery operations
- Configure and manage TLS encryption certificates for secure SQL Server connections

Execute SQL scripts for deployments, production issues, and system maintenance
Perform code reviews of SQL scripts to ensure quality and efficiency
Handle production incidents related to SQL Server environments with urgency and precision
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and DevOps Engineers
Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support across teams
Contribute to architectural decisions that impact database performance and scalability
