Data Quality Analyst at BairesDev
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Analyst to ensure the integrity, consistency, and reliability of large‑scale datasets and data pipelines.
You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and product managers to design and execute testing strategies across Big Data platforms and ETL/ELT workflows.
The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL, familiar with modern data platforms (Databricks or similar), and experienced in both manual and automated data validation techniques.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate data accuracy, completeness, and transformations.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to validate ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for data validation where applicable.
- Ensure high standards of data quality in terms of accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience with strong SQL expertise to query, validate, and analyze large datasets.
- 3+ years of experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline validation.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehousing, and BI principles.
- Experience handling large‑scale datasets (millions of rows) and optimizing queries.
- Solid manual testing / QA experience focused on data validation.
- Familiarity with Big Data platforms and tools (Databricks or similar) and data testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills; experience working with cross‑functional teams.
