At CGI, we are looking for a Data Integration Developer to join an international project in the banking sector.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  
  
• Conversational English (B2 or higher).
  
  
• Over 5 years of experience in data integration and ETL development.
  
  
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise data warehouse projects.
  
  
• Proven track record of delivering complex data integration solutions in production environments.
  
  
• Azure Data Factory – Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, managing triggers, and performance optimization.
  
  
• Advanced SQL Development – Strong command of SQL programming, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
  
  
• Informatica Cloud – Hands-on experience with cloud-based data integration, API management, and real-time processing.
  
  
• Informatica PowerCenter – Solid experience in traditional ETL development, workflow design, and administration.
  
  
• QLIK Replication – Experience in real-time data replication, change data capture (CDC), and data synchronization.
  
  
• Snowflake – Proficiency in the Snowflake cloud data platform, including data storage, data sharing, and performance optimization.
  
  
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and OLAP principles.
  
  
• Experience with various data sources including relational databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms.
  
  
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks and data governance practices.
  
  
• Proficiency in version control systems and CI/CD practices for data projects.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

Data Integration Development (30%)

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL routines to load the data warehouse from multiple source systems.
  
  
• Implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Informatica Cloud, Informatica PowerCenter, and QLIK Replication.
  
  
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all integration processes.
  
  

Advanced SQL Development (30%)

• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  
  
• Optimize SQL performance for large-scale data processing.
  
  
• Develop and maintain database objects that support data warehouse operations.
  
  

Business Requirements Analysis (15%)

• Collaborate with Business Intelligence analysts to identify and understand source systems.
  
  
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data integration solutions.
  
  
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions and solution design discussions.
  
  

Data Warehousing Implementation (10%)

• Apply theory, best practices, and industry-standard techniques in data warehousing.
  
  
• Design and implement dimensional models and data mart structures.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with data governance and data quality standards.
  
  

Data Mapping and Modeling (5%)

• Map data elements from source systems to target data warehouse models.
  
  
• Document data lineage and transformation logic.
  
  
• Maintain metadata and data dictionaries.
  
  

Production Support and Issue Resolution (5%)

• Monitor ETL job performance and troubleshoot failures during and outside business hours.
  
  
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
  
  
• Provide Level 2/3 support for data integration issues.
  
  

Project Collaboration and Documentation (5%)

• Work independently or as part of project teams to deliver data integration solutions.
  
  
• Create comprehensive project documentation, technical specifications, and support guides.
  
  
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  
  

Nice to Have:

Extended Technical Experience

• Microsoft Power BI – Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data models.
  
  
• MicroStrategy – Knowledge of the enterprise reporting and analytics platform.
  
  
• Tableau – Proficiency in data visualization and self-service analytics.
  
  

Industry Experience

• Experience with large-scale data warehouse implementations in enterprise environments.
  
  
• Participation in cloud migration projects and hybrid data architectures.
  
  
• Understanding of data lake concepts and modern data platform architectures.
  
  

Excellence in Nearshore Collaboration

• Proven success working in distributed and nearshore teams.
  
  
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  
  

Additional Skills:

• We are looking for an experienced Data Developer to join our Data Integration team in a nearshore collaboration model.
  
  This role focuses on developing and maintaining robust data integration solutions using top-tier enterprise tools like Azure Data Factory, Informatica Cloud, Informatica PowerCenter, and QLIK Replication.
  
  

The selected candidate will play a key role in building and optimizing ETL processes, supporting data warehouse operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
