Job Description
Requirements
Must have:
- Proven experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform) and Marketing Cloud
- At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and/or Data Cloud
- Strong knowledge of Data Extensions, SQL, AMPscript, and data modeling
- Experience with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and Marketing Cloud Connect
- Understanding of customer journey orchestration and marketing automation
- Experience participating in meetings with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose solutions
- Ability to design and implement data ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, and calculated insights
- Experience integrating external data sources (e.g., LinkedIn, Viant, webinars) into Data Cloud
- Ability to manage data governance, privacy compliance, and data quality across platforms
Nice to have:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Developer, Data Cloud Consultant)
- Experience with CDP platforms, identity resolution, and consent management
- Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Background in digital marketing, CRM, or data engineering
- Familiarity with real-time personalization strategies and GenAI-powered tools
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources into Salesforce Data Cloud
- Configure and manage data models, identity resolution rules, and calculated insights
- Integrate external data feeds and optimize data flows with data engineering teams
- Maintain documentation related to architecture, data dictionary, lineage, and governance
- Develop and maintain journeys, automations, and personalized campaigns in Marketing Cloud
- Implement Data Extensions, AMPscript, SQL queries, and scripting for dynamic content
- Monitor campaign performance and troubleshoot deliverability and personalization issues
- Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to define use cases and technical solutions
- Support A/B testing, audience segmentation, and real-time personalization
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend platform enhancements
Required Languages
- English: Fluent Advanced (96–100%)
