Job Description:
The Global Learning Enablement (GLE) organization, part of Johnson & Johnson Global Services (GS), is recruiting for an Experienced Analyst, Operational Excellence & Analytics to join the Operational Excellence & Strategy team.
The Operational Excellence & Strategy team develops and maintains a robust data infrastructure, leverages digital tools, and implements automation to optimize processes and performance.
The team drives data accuracy, actionable insights, and technological innovation to enable strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across GLE.
The Experienced Analyst, Operational Excellence and Analytics plays a key role in driving both data analytics and project governance across Global Learning Enablement.
The analyst develops and optimizes dashboards, ensures data quality, and translates complex information into actionable insights that support data driven decision making and business performance.
In addition, the role supports project management and governance by tracking milestones, assessing project value, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment in communication and reporting.
Through these combined efforts, the analyst promotes continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and measurable business outcomes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data & Analytics Execution
* Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for key stakeholders and leadership.
* Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., NPS, operational metrics, survey data) into centralized reporting systems.
* Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation checks, documentation, and governance practices.
* Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process and performance improvement.
* Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making.
* Leverage automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Alteryx, UiPath) to streamline data workflows and reduce manual effort.
Continuous Improvement & Project Governance
* Lead project and initiative governance by tracking milestones, deliverables, risks, and performance metrics.
* Own to project assessments to ensure initiatives align with business priorities and deliver measurable value.
* Maintain project dashboards and documentation to monitor progress and promote visibility.
* Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, timely reporting, and project closure.
* Participate in post-project reviews, capturing lessons learned and identifying improvement opportunities.
* Provide analytical and operational support to continuous improvement initiatives, helping drive efficiency and data quality enhancements.
Business Partnership & Communication
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Operations, to align on metrics and project deliverables.
* Present dashboards, reports, and project updates in a clear and compelling way to leadership and key stakeholders.
* Translate Voice of the Customer (VoC) insights and business needs into measurable KPIs and performance indicators.
* Promote transparent, agile, and collaborative ways of working across teams.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree required; degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related field) preferred.
* Minimum five years of experience in analytics, metrics reporting, or operational excellence.
* Experience supporting PMO or project governance activities in a global or matrixed organization preferred.
Required Skills:
* Strong experience in data analysis, metrics definition, and performance reporting.
* Understanding of project management frameworks and ability to support project governance and execution.
* Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and Excel (Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
* Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Alteryx, UiPath) for workflow efficiency.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data insights to business strategy.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex data clearly.
* Familiarity with process design, continuous improvement, or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment.
Preferred:
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
* Experience with SQL or scripting (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics and data manipulation.
* Experience with ETL or data pipeline tools (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica, Power Query).
* Familiarity with survey analytics (e.g., NPS, CSAT) and customer feedback measurement.
