Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Analyst
to support our Sales Operations team.
This role will be pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, optimize inventory, and reduce operational inefficiencies.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in SQL, dashboards, reporting, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis.
In addition, this person will serve as the
point person for ERP integrations
— collaborating with app development teams, ensuring API connections are functioning correctly, and facilitating smooth system integrations as the business evolves.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Inventory Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Identify trends in historical sales, seasonal demand, and product lifecycle.
Business Intelligence & Reporting:
- Build and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into sales performance, inventory health, and operational KPIs.
- Deliver reporting packages to Sales, Finance, and Operations.
- Build new reports and data solutions to support evolving business needs.
ERP Management & Optimizations ):
- Product Data Management
- Act as the primary liaison for ERP integrations, coordinating with internal and external app development teams.
- Ensure APIs are connected and functioning correctly, troubleshooting as needed.
- Query, audit, and optimize ERP integrations to minimize manual processes and improve data accuracy.
Advanced Data Analysis:
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze datasets.
- Explore and apply AI-powered tools to expedite analysis and improve forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in consumer products or retail.
- Strong expertise in SQL, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar), and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience working with ERP systems preferred, but not required).
- Proven ability to manage integrations and API connections.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools for forecasting and data automation is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
