Data Analyst – On-site (Bogotá) - for a transportation/logistics company

Working Hours:
42 hours/week (Monday to Friday)
Monthly Salary:
COP $4,300,000 (Includes all legal benefits) + Performance bonuses.
Only candidates with advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken) will be considered.
Qualifications
- English Fluency:
Advanced level in both written and spoken English – Mandatory.
- Education:
Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a Data Analyst / Scientist role or similar.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, especially Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data management.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
- Experience using Excel for advanced analysis and reporting.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Clean, manage, and analyze datasets using SQL, Python/R, Excel, and Power BI.
- Ensure data accuracy and relevance for effective decision-making.
Data Visualization:
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders.
Reporting & Insights:
- Develop, enhance, and automate performance reports.
- Use tools like Power BI and Google Data Studio to deliver actionable business metrics.
Process Optimization:
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in reporting processes and workflows.
- Implement enhancements to increase operational efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with teams across sales, marketing, and product functions.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations that support strategic business decisions.
