Overview
GMV is opening new positions in the specialized GMV-CERT unit.
We are looking for a SOC Operator to support the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of critical cybersecurity infrastructures, including firewalls, IPS, WAF, EDR, and SIEM platforms.
You will collaborate with other security teams and be responsible for performing operational tasks, event review, and basic change management.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and operation of security platforms
- First-level technical support
- Preventive management and maintenance of infrastructures
- Support in deployments and controlled changes
- Documentation and logging of technical tasks
Qualifications
- Required basic knowledge: Networking: TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, network architecture
- Perimeter security: firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS
- Operation of security technologies such as firewalls (Fortinet, CheckPoint, Palo Alto), IPS/WAF (Imperva, Snort, etc.), and monitoring consoles like Nagios
- Ability to document procedures and log technical activities
Desirable knowledge
- EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, etc.)
- SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, etc.)
- Netskope and other advanced security technologies
