Overview
Design and execute a commercial strategy focused on projects ranging on new business opportunities for tracker & fixed structure across the North LATAM region (Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, and Colombia).
Responsibilities
- Design and execute a commercial strategy focused on projects ranging on new business opportunities for tracker & fixed structure across the North LATAM region (Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, and Colombia).
- Structure and manage a dedicated workflow for quotation generation, reducing response time and increasing competitiveness in the small and medium-scale solar segment.
- Support Sales Managers in the region by handling quotation processes and pre-sale activities for smaller-scale projects, allowing them to focus on large-scale strategic deals.
- Work cross-functionally with the technical and back-office teams to ensure each offer is technically viable, cost-efficient, and aligned with customer expectations.
- Analyze the commercial feasibility of incoming leads in the distributed market segment, prioritize opportunities, and guide the standardization of commercial tools and documents.
Monitor market trends, client feedback, and competitor activity to refine pricing and commercial positioning for this scale of projects.
- Provide input and support in the development of bundled solutions and partnerships relevant to this project size (modules, inverters, financing, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in commercial or business development roles, preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure-related industries.
- Proven experience leading or coordinating commercial strategies in new business lines or smaller-scale project segments.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to structure and improve processes that impact the speed and quality of client interactions.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and basic English (written and spoken).
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently within a cross-functional regional team.
- Ideally between 30–35 years old, with a mature and collaborative attitude.
