About Sim Local & The Role
We are the global leader in travel SIM card and eSIM retail.
Sim Local is one of the world's largest mobile connectivity providers in the travel sector with offices in Dublin and London.
We are looking for a team member to join our daily shifts covering the UK and Ireland time zones.
The shifts will be initially from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am (Colombia, Peru, Ecuador Time).
This position involves a variable shift pattern with 5 shifts a week and 2 days off.
We require availability for working weekends and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer inquiries via
Zendesk
.
- Enforce high service standards.
- Handle complaints and provide resolutions.
- Work towards departmental objectives using KPIs.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with Retail, Operations, Sales and other functions, plus any external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Head of Operations and Customer Service Manager, to create a strategy to enhance the current team's capability and skills.
- Proactively analysing, assessing and interpreting operational performance statistics, completing a regular commentary, detailing the overall department performance, successes and identified opportunities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple simultaneous conversations, maintaining high efficiency and meticulous attention to detail.

- Speaking one of these languages is a plus:
German, French, Dutch - E-Sim or Sim Experience is a plus
