Main General Activity and Responsibility:

Our Country Supply Lead will be direct responsible for the Product Supply (Import and Tracking).

Including Local Inland Transportation, Storage, Cold Chain Management Outbound Transportation-Distribution, flow of the goods through the Central American and the Caribbean (CENCA) region for Regulated and non-Regulated markets, considering the different Government Agencies and foreign trade requirements.  Responsibilities start at the Source of Supply (SOS) and end when the products are delivered to our distributor as per the incoterm.

On this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Foreign Trade - Import and Export processes (Free Trade Zone), including the customs processes adhering to customs and local agencies regulations & legislation (assure all the documentation per market regulations and laws is provided so distributors can perform their local customs process including Panama market)

  • Support the invoicing process for Order Management for Latin American on behalf of the Swiss HUB

  • Demand Planning CENCA.

    Assure the rolling forecast for the next 24 months is accurate and loaded in the standard planning systems (Current ERP).

    Analyzing and understanding the changes in the forecast, appropriate Level of inventory and planning parameters.

  • Understand how the orders are supplied to the market in alignment to Forecast and informs when orders will delay impacting inventory targets.

  • Ensure that Customer Service activities readiness is on time to meet Market new products launches and any source changes.

  • Human Resources allocation and management of available resources according to the changing needs of the business.

 

Other Activities Include:

  • Budget - Profit Plan: Preparation, execution and monitoring including the Monthly Accruals (People, Distribution, Material, Warehouse, Shipping & Handling, etc.)

  •  Budget - Procurement – Purchase Order Management and Coordination (issue, control, approve, payment issues, close).

  • Budget Value Capture - Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives to increase the performance of the position, the team and the company.

  • Warehouse & Distribution - Control quantity, cost and efficiency of movement and storage of goods.

  • Market demand Meeting Process - Prepare, present and Lead.

  • Tier Local 2 Prepare and Lead.

  • Tier 2.5 Regional - Weekly active participation and coordinate issue resolution with Fulfillment Planning Team.

  • Supply Planning -Coordination with Fulfillment Planners any adjustment, demand changes to adjust FCST (revision of planning parameters) including bid and offshore product.

  • Service Level Agreement - agree on the levels of Service Level Agreement with Commercial (OCO).

  • Tenders - timely delivery of Tender products, including packaging, re-labeling and / or placement of specific commercial legends required by customers.

  • Regulatory Affairs - comply with the Market Agencies in terms of Sanitary Registration printing as per product registered per market.  Coordinate the reception and delivery of samples for registrations and standard of reference to registration external partners via our market’s distributors.

  • Regulatory and Source of Supply Changes management via COAS meeting: discussion of regulatory issues, analysis of impact on supply and responsibility for coordinating actions related to supply (SOS changes, artworks, etc.)     

  • Inventory Management - maintaining adequate / healthy levels of inventory, as well as the analysis of IQV actions, Physical Counts, reconciliations with Logistics Service Provider.

Requirements For Education, Experience and Skills:

  •  Completed bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, Supply Chain or related.
  •   4+ years of experience with similar Supply Chain Management responsibilities.
  • 5+ years as people manager.
  • Solid experience Leading or having an active role with Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) Process.
  • Solid experience with planning and general logistics tasks.
  • Solid understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Safety, Health and Environment and Regulatory.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management and Effective Communication
  • Solid Leadership skills.
  • Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Abstraction and comprehension skills.
  • Proven experience creating and presenting strategic documents and Procedures.
  • Resilient and open to adapt on a paced working environment
  • Previous experience using ERP systems.

Optional Requirements for Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Master in Supply Chain or related is desirable.
  • Conversational Portuguese fluency is be desirable.
  • 4+ years of experience within pharma or related industry.
