Amazon is seeking an experienced compliance professional with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) expertise to serve as a Compliance Manager and Deputy Compliance Officer for our Amazon Risk and Compliance Solutions team based in Bogotá, Colombia.
The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in building and implementing robust compliance frameworks, with specific focus on anti-money laundering (AML) regulations including SAGRILAFT, and Business Transparency and Ethics Programs (PTEE).
You will lead strategic initiatives, partner with key stakeholders across the organization, and develop innovative compliance solutions to ensure our Colombian operations maintain full compliance with Superintendencia de Sociedades requirements and other applicable regulations.

Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
As Compliance Manager, you will engage strategically across business, legal, operations, and technical teams to influence product direction and design appropriate AML controls.
In this key role, you will advise senior stakeholders on compliance implications of business decisions, while developing and maintaining comprehensive SAGRILAFT/PTEE compliance frameworks to effectively mitigate risks.
Your activities will include guiding cross-functional teams on regulatory compliance, delivering training programs, building relationships with stakeholders and regulators, monitoring regulatory changes, conducting compliance testing, and supporting the Chief Compliance Officer in critical initiatives.
You will leverage data-driven insights to ensure robust compliance across Amazon's Colombian operation.
About The Team
Risk and Compliance Solutions (RCS) is Amazon's Financial Crime and Consumer Protection Compliance gatekeeper for payment entities and activities, protecting buyers, brands and selling partners while allowing the organization to scale safely.
RCS designs, builds and manages Compliance Programs at the second-line level ensuring i) regulated RCS entities are compliant with applicable requirements, laws and regulations, ii) Amazon secures and maintains regulated licenses required to operate and, iii) Amazon brands can deliver trusted and valued payment experiences.
