Job Description:
Position Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Cold Calling Manager to lead and oversee a team of cold calling representatives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in outbound calling, lead generation, and sales pipeline development, along with proven leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of at least three members.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong sales acumen, and the ability to coach team members to achieve individual and team targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of minimum three cold calling executives.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team and track performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, scripts, and call quality standards.
- Cold Calling & Lead Generation
- Execute and oversee outbound calls to prospective clients to generate leads.
- Develop and maintain calling scripts, objection-handling guidelines, and conversion techniques.
- Monitor and improve team members' performance in generating qualified leads.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track team productivity, call volume, conversion rates, and sales pipeline.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and present them to senior management.
- Implement strategies to improve efficiency, conversion, and customer engagement.
- Training & Development
- Provide ongoing training to enhance communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Identify skill gaps and design development programs for the team.
- Encourage a high-performance culture and motivate team members to exceed goals.
- Process & Strategy Improvement
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine lead-generation strategies.
- Recommend process improvements to increase productivity and call effectiveness.
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, target markets, and competitor activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or inside sales.
- At least 1–2 years of team management experience (minimum three members).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/lead-generation targets.
- Familiarity with Sales force and dialing systems.
