 The role 
 We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our team as: 
 Cloud Database Administrator (AWS & SQL Server)  
 SoftwareOne  
 Scope:  Full-time | Office: Colombia | Remote 
 Day to day responsibilities 
  - Continuous management with the client.
 
 
- Continuous management of AWS components.
 
 
- Component monitoring in AWS.
 
 
- Incident and failure reporting in Manufacturer.
 
 
- Remediation of vulnerabilities.
 
 
- Support and management of Teams Lead.
 
 
- Support the administration and monitoring of SQL Server  databases running on AWS (RDS and EC2) .
 
 
- Participate in database migration projects from on-premise environments to AWS.
 
 
- Assist in the use of AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)  and other AWS tools for secure and efficient data migration.
 
 
- Collaborate on performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and implementation of database security policies.
 
 
- Document procedures, configurations, and provide regular reports on database performance and health.
 
 
Profile 
 Technologist or professional in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields, with experience in AWS cloud administration.
  - AWS Platform management 
- AWS Cloud Platform Administration 
- Infrastructure with code (Terraform – CloudFormation) 
- Container management and support 
- Incident and failure reporting in Manufacturer 
- Automation of processes in AWS 
- Technical or professional degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
 
 
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher, including administration and T‑SQL.
 
 
- Familiarity with AWS services such as RDS for SQL Server, EC2, and Database Migration Service (DMS).
 
 
- Basic understanding or experience in database migration to cloud environments.
 
 
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning and continuous improvement.
