Chief Automated Tester in .NET

Job description

We are looking for a seasoned Chief Automated Tester with deep expertise in .NET to join our team.

In this position, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our software products by collaborating with developers to tackle and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage automated testing frameworks for multi-tier SaaS solutions built on a C#/.NET/SQL Server, Docker stack
• Create reusable automated testing components and frameworks using Selenium
• Build and maintain automated testing suites, including unit, system, performance, and load tests
• Address and resolve technical challenges in automated testing systems and software platforms
• Implement continuous integration and automated testing systems to ensure high-quality product releases in Agile environments
• Collaborate with Agile teams, leveraging Agile methodologies to meet project deadlines
• Efficiently handle individual responsibilities, manage competing priorities, and provide innovative solutions to technical problems
• Continuously develop expertise and explore new tools to support project success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in automation testing
• At least 2 years of experience leading and managing teams with the ability to guide teams technically, influence project outcomes, and implement best practices
• Involvement in at least 2 full lifecycle projects or multiple projects covering a variety of development phases
• In-depth knowledge of tools and technologies used in automation testing
• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining reusable automated testing frameworks and components
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues
• Demonstrated ability to create innovative solutions to recurring technical challenges
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with internal or external stakeholders
• Comprehensive understanding of design principles, functional requirements, and project documentation
• Expertise in implementing designs and providing feedback to improve development standards
• Proficiency in developing automated unit, system, performance, and load testing suites
• Practical experience with continuous integration and automated testing frameworks in development workflows
• Advanced skills in designing and performing quality assurance and testing processes
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal, at a B2+ level or higher
