You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.# **A Day in the Life**In this unique role, you will be responsible for the deployment, commissioning, and maintenance of our Care Systems (PCS) portfolio in hospitals and medical practices.
This portfolio includes both hardware devices—such as the Medtronic Smart Sync Device Manager (our tablet-based solution for wireless interrogation and programming of pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac rhythm recorders) and patient transmitter solutions (MyCareLink and Relay bedside transmitters, as well as the MyCareLinkHeart App)—as well as web-based services for remote monitoring and follow-up of cardiac devices, including Medtronic CareLink, CareLink Express, FocusOn, BeConnected, Discovery Link, Triage HF, and Mainspring.
This is a remote position where you can be based in Ireland, the Netherlands or Bogota and you'll collaborate with global colleagues across different time zones.
You will report to the Senior Business Process Improvement Manager.**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:*** Deliver cross-functional services across Clinical, Regulatory, and adjacent teams, including Program/Project Management, Process Improvement, Strategic Facilitation, Kaizen, and MPS/Green Belt coaching* Lead and manage a portfolio of initiatives, providing regular updates and insights to key stakeholders and senior leadership* Drive process improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance* Analyze and optimize workflows, identifying waste and improvement opportunities through process mapping and evaluation* Leverage data and analytics to uncover root causes, support operational decisions, and inform strategic planning* Facilitate effective collaboration by organizing and leading meetings, presentations, and workshops across teams and leadership levels* Develop and track KPIs/metrics to measure performance and identify future opportunities for continuous improvement.Organizes, leads, and facilitates meetings and presentations across program and project teams, including with senior leadership, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration**Required Knowledge and Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of project/program management experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years)* Experience as a Program Manager at Medtronic or medical device industry in Clinical Research or Clinical/Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Quality, Engineering, Health Care* Experience managing projects in a global scope working with cross-functional teams* Project Management Professional (PMP)/RMP certification* Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Green Belt Certification**Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.# **Benefits & Compensation****Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
