Business Development Manager – Colombia (Forex)

The role focuses on expanding relationships with Brokers and Partners in the Colombia region, identifying new leads, and developing strategies to grow the business in the CFD industry.
This is a remote position working during local office hours.
Your Role in VT Markets
In this role you will identify new leads for expansion and develop innovative strategies to grow the business by recognizing opportunities and addressing needs within the CFD industry in Colombia.
You will manage and expand a portfolio of brokers and partners, maintain strong relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction, and collaborate with regional marketing and client relations teams.
Responsibilities
- 1 Lead origination – Identify new leads for expansion and develop new ways to grow the business by addressing CFD industry needs.
- 2 Relationship building – Maintain strong development relationships with introducing brokers and partners; keep clients/partners engaged to ensure high satisfaction.
- Develop a healthy sales pipeline by diversifying the IB pool from the CFD industry to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
- 4 Competitor analysis – Conduct periodic analysis to understand competition and identify opportunities to boost growth.
- 5 Troubleshooting and business support – Act as primary contact for partner/IB issues and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.

- Consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets with a replenished sales pipeline.
- Strong relationships with personal portfolios of IBs and partners.
- Significant contribution to top-line growth and user acquisition.
- Active participation in social-based events (workshops, seminars, etc.) as part of business development strategy.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Qualification & Experience:
- 3+ years in the CFD industry within business development, with experience working with IBs and partners.
- Strong base of IBs/partners in the respective markets.
A diploma or degree in any field.
Technical and functional skills.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for business development.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for sales pitches.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with partners and clients.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and English.
Other Requirements:
- Occasional travel within Colombia (approx.
10%).
- Remote role requiring access to personal device and laptop.
