Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Representative.

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for lead generation, market research, presentations, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Qualify Leads: Use various tools and techniques to search for potential clients who could benefit from the company's products or services.

    Screen potential leads based on specific criteria and qualification processes to ensure they meet the company's target profile.

  • Cold Calling and Email Outreach: Perform cold calling and send personalized email outreach to potential clients to introduce them to the company's offerings and gauge their interest in scheduling a meeting or demonstration.

  • Schedule Appointments: Successfully schedule appointments for sales representatives with qualified leads.

    Ensure that these appointments are set at convenient times for both the sales representative and the potential client, and are well-documented in the company’s CRM system.

  • CRM Management: Regularly update the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with new leads, appointments, and follow-up actions.

    Ensure that all communication with potential clients is tracked and recorded for future reference.

  • Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up communications with potential clients who have expressed interest in the past but did not book an appointment, with the aim of scheduling one.

  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to understand the types of clients they are looking for, receive feedback on the quality of the leads and appointments, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, industry challenges, and competitive landscapes to refine outreach strategies and messaging.

  • Performance Reporting: Regularly report on appointment setting activities, outcomes, and metrics to the sales leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Number of Qualified Leads Generated: the number of leads generated that meet the qualification criteria set by the sales team.

  • Number of Appointments Scheduled: the number of appointments successfully scheduled with potential clients.

  • Conversion Rate: the percentage of qualified leads that convert into scheduled appointments.

  • Lead Response Time: the average time taken to respond to a lead from the moment they are identified.

  • Appointment Show Rate: the percentage of scheduled appointments where the potential client actually shows up or participates.

  • CRM Data Accuracy: the accuracy and completeness of the data entered into the CRM system.

  • Sales Team Satisfaction: the sales team’s satisfaction with the quality of leads and appointments through regular surveys or feedback sessions.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English & Spanish language, verbal and written (mandatory)
  • Proactive and hunger-driven business mindset with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience in lead generation and market research
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and payment systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
